While it isn't necessary to have a breastfeeding cover, in my experience it is always nice to have one with you for times where you may want the comfort of a little extra privacy. I really like the chevron design this cover has. It is perfect for a boy or girl. The hoop on the top makes it easy to see you little one while you are feeding them. Although my little ones are well past the nursing stage, this breastfeeding cover will make a wonderful gift for an upcoming baby shower.
