Volmate Vol-200 Battery Tester

A problem we commonly have in our house is knowing is a random battery is good or not. My two young children often get into the battery drawer and swap out batteries so we have new and dead batteries mixed together. It gets frustrating to try and replace a battery and you have to sort through to find a good one.

This battery tester is very easy to use. It tests 9V, AA, AAA, C, D, 1.5V button type batteries. I easily tested all of these types of batteries except for the button battery. I see in other reviews that a new battery and a used but still good battery has the needle settle at the same spot. I did not experience that. I tested a new battery straight out of the pack and it was on the high end of the green section. I then tested a battery out of a remote that we have been using for a while and the needle settled on the low end of good.

This is going to be so handy to have stored in our battery drawer. I hate to throw out a battery and not fully know if it is good or not. No more! Great item.
