Dot & Dot Baby Stroller Organizer

As my kids have gotten a little bit older, we don't need to travel with the huge stroller anymore and have downgraded to an umbrella stroller.  The one thing I miss about the big stroller is the built in parent tray / organizer that is on every stroller.  Our umbrella stroller is a Maclaren so one would think as expensive as it was new that it would have someplace for mom & dad to store their stuff.

This organizer provides everything I need.  Place to keep a beverage, snacks for the kids, room for my keys, phone, etc.  I absolutely love it!

Post-natal Recovery and Support Belly Band

The Mamaway postpartum belly band is very comfortable and supportive. It is soft and stretchy and has 3 support bands that adjust for a comfortable fit. Even after wearing it for an extensive period of time, it is still comfortable. The velcro stays where you choose to put it. I did have a bit of rolling on the bottom in the hip area but nothing too bad. The fabric itself isn't rough or rigid. Good product for making a new mom feel more comfortable.

Sprouts Cold Remedy

Sprouts Cold Remedy is a natural product in liquid form.  It comes in a glass bottle with a glass dropper.  The liquid is a dark brown and you take it by adding 25 drops to water and drinking it.  The smell / flavor straight out of the bottle reminds me of a black jelly bean.  However it's the taste / smell is barely detectable once you put in a glass of water.

I have not been sick lately so I have not been able to take it to see if it works as advertised.  I'm hopeful that it will though.  It is supposed to shorten the length of the common cold.  It even relieves those pesky symptoms of a col including cough, sore throat, congestion and runny nose.  It also fights germs and viruses by boosting natural immunities.

Car Window Sunshades with UV Protection by FAST MILE

This is a product I really wanted to love but there are a few flaws that just don't allow me to love it. The biggest problem is I cannot get it to fit on the back window of my 2006 Mercury Mountaineer. It is too small to cover the whole window. Also visibility out the window is definitely effected. I also don't like that half the fabric is on the outside of the vehicle. If you live in a part of the country where you have sunshine 360 days of the year, it would be great for you. But I live in a part of the country where we have rain at least once a week and winters are sloppy, slushy and just gross. We definitely need sun protection in the winter due to sun glare. I love the idea of being able to open the window while this is on but that doesn't over-ride the other problems.

Automatic Blood Pressure Monitor BPM-110

This blood pressure monitor is easy to use and lets you know in the light up display on the right side if your pressure is normal, borderline or high.  The cuff does seem a little small but although my arm is too large for the cuff to reach the "ok" range, it still seems accurate.  My blood pressure is pretty consistent when I go to the doctor and the reading from this machine seems to be the same.  I really like that the machine will track the last 60 readings.  The display is easy to read and easy to understand.

Strech Marks and Scars Cream

I have been using this cream on some scars that are 10+ years old. I'm very surprised to see that they are starting to fade. This cream has a wonderful feel to it - no greasy feel. There is no medicinal smell either - smells like citrus. It is very thick but it it absorbs into your skin easily. If it will fade my scars away completely, only time will tell. So far though, this is a great product.

Santamedical SM-110 Finger Pulse Oximeter

This pulse oximeter works as expected and appears to be accurate when comparing to other pulse oximeters. It is comfortable on your finger. It stays on but not too tight. It comes with two lanyards. One that attached to the pulse oximeter itself and one that attaches to the case. The display is a red digital numbers. I am happy with this product, it works as it should.

Lenoxica Sandwich Cutters with a BONUS Memory Card

These are so much fun.  My kids aren't picky about crusts but for kiddos who insist on having their crust cut off, these are perfect.  I made my kiddos sandwiches with Home Pride bread and they were the perfect size for that size slice of bread.  One cuts the slice into dinosaur shapes and the other heart shapes.  I like that the cutting side is sharp but not so sharp that it will harm little ones who insist on helping in the kitchen.  Very sturdy material.

Making your own baby food is a labor of love for your little one.  After going through the work of making the food you want to ensure it is stored safely and securely for your little one.  These pouches accomplish both of those.  The bottom has a double zip closure that opens nice and wide for filling and there is no doubt that it is closed once you seal it.  The cap snaps on tightly.  I especially like that on the back side there is marks for difference ounces for filling.  Makes it easy since you don't have to measure it out in a separate container.

Santamedical SM-165 Fingertip Pulse Oximeter

This Santamedical pulse oximeter is one of the best I've seen. It has a lot of features that I have not seen on other meters. I especially like that your heart rate scrolls along the bottom. Another feature that others do not have is with the simple click of the button, you can rotate the orientation of the display. This way you can clearly see the results when either testing on yourself or on another person.

Volmate Vol-200 Battery Tester

A problem we commonly have in our house is knowing is a random battery is good or not. My two young children often get into the battery drawer and swap out batteries so we have new and dead batteries mixed together. It gets frustrating to try and replace a battery and you have to sort through to find a good one.

This battery tester is very easy to use. It tests 9V, AA, AAA, C, D, 1.5V button type batteries. I easily tested all of these types of batteries except for the button battery. I see in other reviews that a new battery and a used but still good battery has the needle settle at the same spot. I did not experience that. I tested a new battery straight out of the pack and it was on the high end of the green section. I then tested a battery out of a remote that we have been using for a while and the needle settled on the low end of good.

This is going to be so handy to have stored in our battery drawer. I hate to throw out a battery and not fully know if it is good or not. No more! Great item.

BBQ Gloves Heat Resistant Set from Magikuchen

I absolutely love these silicone gloves by Magikuchen.  It seems that every time I'm in the kitchen baking or even making a meal I manage to get my potholder or oven mitt wet.  We all know what happens then.... OUCH!!!  With silicone gloves that is no longer a concern.

There are two in the pack but what is nice if you can wear them on either hand.  No scrambling to figure out which goes on which hand as the timer is buzzing.  

The grips are great, no worries about dropping your work on the floor.  And they are adorable.... little hearts.  

I appreciate the little hole on the side for hanging.  Fits perfectly on a hook I have on the side of my fridge which is right next to my stove.

Stuff4Tots Crib Mattress Pad

I have 2 young children: a 3 1/2 year old son and a 2 1/2 year old daughter. Both kids still use a crib size mattress. My daughter's mattress has a vinyl type cover on it buy my son's mattress is fabric. It is advertised as being waterproof but it makes me nervous to have it uncovered. I used to have a vinyl type waterproof cover on it but I didn't care for it because it seemed like I was putting a shower curtain on the mattress. I was excited to try this mattress pad out because it is a breathable waterproof pad that is advertised to keep the mattress dry and protected. I put it on his bed and although he doesn't have many leaks it is nice to have that protection. He did have 1 accident a few days after I put this on and the mattress pad did it's intended job well. I like the feeling of this product, it doesn't feel like plastic so I know it is comfortable for my son to sleep on.
